Some of the best audio components in the world are designed with the differential signaling circuits which "balance" the signal by connecting each wire to identical impedances at the source and load (destination). 

North Hill Crimson by Simco Audio presents the 3-conductor interconnect cable, including a shield and a signal positive as well as a signal negative (unlike the single-ended cable). This design, along with the corresponding circuitry in the component, allows for a greater amount of noise rejection as compared to single-ended cable designs.

Our philosophy on balanced cable construction is based on our Iso-Braid design with 3 levels of isolation between all 3 conductors. These are: the polymer jacket; the nylon sheathing over the polymer jacket; and the air between each individual conductor.
With the Iso-Braid design we are able to further eliminate noise of the already quiet designs of yesteryear. The resulting flat braid cable is extremely quiet and lays flat for ease of placement.

The internal wiring is 16AWG stranded pure copper. We believe less resistance is a paramount factor in the design of an audiophile interconnect. You will be impressed at the tonal neutrality these cables provide.
