Introducing the Miyajima ETR-KSW

The ETR-KSW was produced exclusively for the Kansui, Shilabe and Waza cartridges, and Miyajima describe it as the ideal step-up transformer for their stereo cartridge range. In pursuit of better sound quality, extra functions such as selectors were removed to keep the design as direct as possible.
The transformer is housed in a teak case, uses paraffin as the caulking material, and employs highest-grade permalloy 80 for the transformer core. A front-panel demagnetisation button is included to demagnetise both cartridge and transformer safely while playing a record.

Please push the demagnetizer button for ten seconds while listening to LP music. While pressed, the music stops. Miyajima recommend demagnetisation every several months.
