Eversolo EM-01 Calibrated Omnidirectional USB Measurement Microphone

The Eversolo EM-01 is a calibrated omnidirectional USB microphone designed for room correction, loudspeaker measurement and acoustic analysis. Its 20Hz–20kHz response, 24-bit/48kHz conversion and individual calibration file provide the accuracy required for compatible Eversolo and third-party measurement systems.

The EM-01 is intended to provide more consistent measurement data than a phone’s built-in microphone when carrying out room correction. Its omnidirectional 6mm electret-condenser capsule measures sound arriving from every direction, making it suitable for evaluating the combined output of loudspeakers and the listening room.

Each microphone is supplied with an individual calibration file. When loaded into compatible measurement software or an Eversolo calibration process, this file compensates for the microphone’s measured response and improves the accuracy of the resulting data.

A published frequency response of 20Hz–20kHz, within ±1dB when the calibration file is applied, allows the EM-01 to capture the principal audible frequency range. It tolerates sound-pressure levels up to 130dB SPL and contains a 24-bit/48kHz analogue-to-digital converter.

Connection is provided through USB Type-C using the UAC 1.0 protocol. Plug-and-play compatibility is offered for Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, and the microphone can also be used with measurement applications such as REW and compatible Dirac installations.

The slim aluminium enclosure measures 155mm in length and weighs approximately 47g. A desktop stand, microphone holder, windscreen and USB cables are included.
