Introducing the Miyajima EC-5

The EC-5 is a vacuum tube preamplifier designed with particular attention to analogue replay and front-panel usability. Miyajima state that its circuit is thought about for LP playback, and the unit supports three separate phono inputs for multiple players, alongside a total of six input circuits overall.
The preamp offers both RIAA and 78rpm equalisation options, variable input impedance for phono inputs B and C, a convenient mode switch including single-channel and LR reverse output, gain adjustment, direct and volume-controlled outputs, and a direct REC terminal. Internally, the signal system is wired with a single wire and kept physically distant from the power-supply-related cable to preserve transparency, strength and stability.
