The Bokrand 12” Broadcast Tonearm DZT is master tonearm builder Alfred Bokrand’s magnum opus in creative tonearm design. His new tonearm, handmade by Alfred himself, is a design based on the Neumann DZT tonearm and features a unique patented double collet that allows a 2-3mm adjustment for overhang.

Or read about the tonearm in Alfreds own words:
"My first prototype for my DZT tonearm in the NEUMANN Bauhaus style was made in December 2014. It took 9 years before I could present my DZT... This tonearm was constructed in the BAUHAUS style. Since I also studied architecture for a year at a special school, this tonearm fascinated me from the first impression. What does BAUHAUS style mean and what does it include? The form follows the function. Bauhaus art is a style that was shaped in the 1920s by the German art school. It combines art, craft and technology and is characterized by minimalism, functionality and simple geometric shapes. BAUHAUS style is a close synthesis of functionality and design: the functionality arises from the design and the design arises from the functionality. The NEUMANN DZT tonearm follows this philosophy perfectly:
+ Minimalism: the tonearm consists of only 21 parts
+ simple geometric shape
+ perfect functionality
This was and still is the tonearm that perfectly combines all of these things. Added to this is a perfect material for tonearms: brass, and a computer-calculated arm geometry that makes it the tonearm with the least distortion in the world. Design and utility model are protected for me in 28 countries and the USA.
