The Eversolo DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 2 is an upgraded all-in-one streamer, DAC and digital preamplifier created for more demanding audio systems. It retains the touchscreen operation, music-management platform, extensive streaming support, HDMI connectivity and storage expansion of the DMP-A6 Gen 2 while introducing improvements to the components that influence clocking and analogue signal quality.
Two ultra-low-phase-noise femtosecond audio clocks provide dedicated timing references for the principal digital-audio sampling-rate families. By reducing timing error before conversion, the clock system is intended to improve focus, separation and the stability of the reproduced soundstage.
The analogue section uses an array of Texas Instruments OPA1612 operational amplifiers. Eversolo specifies extremely low amplifier noise and distortion, helping the Master Edition preserve fine low-level information as the signal moves from the dual ESS DACs to the balanced and unbalanced outputs.
Power is supplied by an upgraded ultra-low-noise linear supply with published background noise below 40µV. A customisable illuminated volume control further distinguishes the Master Edition, with selectable RGB lighting effects surrounding the front-panel knob.
The player supports native DSD512 and PCM 768kHz/32-bit decoding, 10-band equalisation, Roon, TIDAL Connect, HDMI ARC, HDMI multichannel output, CD playback and ripping through an external USB drive, trigger integration and wired Wake-on-LAN.

Its principal upgrades are the clock system, operational amplifiers, power-supply refinement and illuminated volume control. An internal SSD and external CD drive must be purchased separately.
