Eversolo DAC-Z10 Reference DAC, Balanced Preamplifier & Headphone Amplifier
—
The Eversolo DAC-Z10 combines dual-mono AKM conversion, independent R-2R volume networks, a fully balanced preamplifier and a dedicated headphone amplifier. Triple linear power supplies, comprehensive electrical isolation and precision OCXO clocking make it a reference-grade conversion and control component.
—
The DAC-Z10 is a standalone digital-to-analogue converter rather than a network streamer. It is intended for systems using a digital transport, computer, television, CD transport or other external source, and can operate as a DAC, analogue preamplifier and headphone amplifier.
Eversolo’s Fully Isolated Architecture separates the digital system, left audio channel and right audio channel. Three dedicated linear power supplies minimise interaction between these areas, while each stereo channel receives its own AK4191 digital processor and AK4499 DAC.
The dual-mono philosophy continues through the volume stage, where independent high-precision R-2R resistor networks control the left and right channels in the analogue domain. The fully balanced preamplifier provides XLR and RCA analogue inputs and outputs, along with up to +10dB of analogue gain.
Precision Core clocking combines an OCXO oscillator, PLL jitter suppression and FPGA-based clock reconstruction. External clock inputs accept 10MHz or 25MHz reference signals with selectable 50Ω and 75Ω impedance.
A dedicated 6.35mm headphone-amplifier module automatically detects headphone impedance and adjusts gain. It can provide up to 1W into both 16Ω and 32Ω loads in its high-gain setting.
Digital inputs include USB Audio, dual coaxial, dual optical, IIS, AES/EBU and HDMI ARC/eARC. An 8.8-inch touchscreen provides input, volume and audio-setting control alongside VU meters and spectrum displays.

* The DAC-Z10 is not a network streamer and must receive audio from an external source. An external master clock is optional and not included. Actual headphone output and gain behaviour depend on impedance, selected gain and connected headphones.
